Some of these guys that pull these loads are going to be in a world of hurt when the tax man comes around.

There is a fella that loads bentonite rolls out of Lovell all the time that I get emails from. No idea on the rates, but if you're interested let me know and I'll send you his info. Has one going to Michigan this morning.

More brokers ought to get in to politics. They 'say' a lot.

I actually saw that load yesterday. Problem is with my deadhead it’s pretty cheap and it delivers to literally middle of nowhere. The load up there paid $5k for 1350 miles so I knew I’d be hosed leaving WY

There's gypsum board outta Lovell too. Rates are junk unless you actually chat with them and load times can be a bit of a wait.

Thank you. It seems I’m hitting WY every week. I’ve also seen a lot of hay loads but I don’t have 8ft tarps. Scared of heights 6ft max for me lol.

There’s also Fox Lumber in Laurel MT but those are junk pallet stock loads.

The other 3 lumber mills I said are all Nieman companies I think.

"Some are still doing over 3 a mile. Most of that freight isn’t on a load board. Load boards are scraps when all fails. If your business plan is to operate on a load board. -That’s not much of a business plan."

"I also am not bound by brokers. I do use the spot market. My customer freight is about 25-30 percent of what I do."

So, you use the spot market 70-75% of the time, but at the same time you say it's a bad idea to use it...

This went too far, the others are right to complain, I don't intend to go further.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.
