Not sure where things stand at this point...if you are new, get that time in wherever and then move on. Gotta say, any line haul gig may not be the best....terrible weather won't be an excuse and the load has to go. May want to ease into trucking. You'll be tested eventually. Schneider will be just fine to start.

    CeejeSM Thanks this.

You could do worse. I started at Schneider as well.
    Good luck

Maybe! Only you will know soon. Teams work well for some drivers and some do teaming just long enough to qualify for another type of driving job. Do a minimum 3 mos there, but longer is better.

Exactly. Not a bad place to start at all. Just do things right and move on when the time is right.

    CeejeSM and Opus Thank this.

    Schneider veteran here...

but I never did team driving there.

The quality of your experience will be determined...in large part...to the quality (or lack thereof) demonstrated by your team partner.

If your teammate is a slob, or lazy...or a jerk...you will of course not like it (& vice versa).

If you can--screen/scrutinize your teammate carefully. What's his/her previous driving record like?

Your own life may later depend on it...

DO NOT BE AFRAID TO SAY this ain't working out for me. I either need a new partner or a single truck. Too many guys put up with too much BS thinking that the company will be upset if they bail......they won't be. They'd rather make some adjustments to your assignment than lose you all together. Don't be a wuss, but at the same time don't put up with unsafe driving or pure laziness.

    CeejeSM Thanks this.

Better than alot. When you say "team" do you mean that you'll be with a trainer? Personally I'd hate to share a space with some dude.
