Every case is different. In Texas, if you signed anything that said AS-IS, such as a buyers guide, you may be out of luck. But there are instances that even then, AS-IS may not hold water. I would speak to an attorney about it, though to be sure, if it was me. If you have no clue how to go about it yourself with filing a suit against the seller, I would definitely get an attorney.

Read later in other posts it was sold with a warranty. Sit back and relax. Yeah, no income right now, but at least you're not no income and footing repair, right? Call ACI motor freight, maybe you could go to work for them in Grapevine for a week or two to get some coin. I think they pay like $25 an hour to start, doing LTL.

 

Been there done that it sucks it sucks bad.

Sell the problem and hire the solution.

Sell the truck and be a company driver and ALL of those problems completely disappear and your life will become worry free and easy.

Sorry if that is not what you want to hear but I think it is a great solution.

Wisconsin is the only state with a Lemon Law for commercial vehicles.

 

Sorry you bought the farm already it’s your baby now. No lemon laws for trucks especially a 4 year old truck. I hear the emissions is easier to fix in the Cummins engines than the paccars. I also hear that if you change the filter and it still gives you an issue the other likely problem is the egr valve isn’t completely closing I’d have them look at that. I’m by no means a mechanic tho!

 

There’s always work. Go job hunting in the interim. Find some local work that pays the bills and gets you home every night. Good luck.
