97 9800 flat floor. M11 at who knows what power level. 10 speed. 3.90 rears. Pretty clean straight old truck. Little bit of paint and some wheels and a polish and shed be real nice. Interior is all there and not all cracked and beat to hell. Got a few little odds and ends to sort out on the electrical side of things and she'll be 100%

Got her with the acid the other day and the tanks cleaned up real well. Give a whole 8500 bucks for her.

    That girl is friggin awesome!!
Kinda sounds like an ole jb hunt double nickle days 280hp job?

The price is right, seems nice enough for ole poor boy like me. I'd run it over the road if I had too, no question..

Best of luck with her, but you watch. These old cheap rides are money makers. Little rough around the edges, undesirable specs for most owner op's, but they just go, & go. Hopeful she put a few dollars back in your billfold!!

If your 389 needs a full rebuild again, & you can't swing it right now, (not that I could either) This is a way to go, vs back to a company hand. Just keep it in mind..

Old frito lay truck. She run about 75 clicking around 1700 or so. Guy I got it off of claimed it'd get 7mpg around the house.

I helped the driver buy it so he can get in for himself. I'm back in the 567 rn until I know what's going on with the fld. Speaking of flds is that rig you're running hub or budd?

Think i found the leak. Main rad hose into the thermostat? Was able to pressurize the system to 15 psi and laid underneath of it looking for any drips. Bout 30 mins later i was about to close the hood and leave it overnight until my eye caught the first sign of a drip...would make sense why i couldnt find anything. It dripping right onto the exhaust manifold. Guess we will make the 2 hour trip into town tomorrow and see if this solves our problem.. Hard to see in pictures but its leaking a good amount.. Wonder if its just the hose? Or could it be the housing is cracked? Only leak i can see is on the top ,under the hose.
