Only water my yard gets is rain. Mom axed me awhile back if I wanted a sprinkler I said Noooooooo.

This will fire up @bzinger but.. why do people water and fertilize their yards ... I understand wanting to have it look nice I get it
But F me it takes me about 4 .5 hrs to mow 3 acs..
Then there's 15 to 20.00 in gas
Plus a Minimum of 4 beers at 1.00 each
Thats a total cost of 25 to 30 per week not counting my labor
It just pisses me off every time I spend a afternoon mowing the yard knowing In a week I have to do it again .. stupid just plain stupid
So why enhance this stupid maddness by watering & Fertilizing the exsiting problem
Thats 5 hrs outa my week I could be doing something productive
I pray for a drought it save's me time & money

 

You of all people should see the value of fencing close to the house and putting some calves on pasture. Let them do the mowing!

 

Cause when you’re old and don’t have no desire to consort with the general public you mow — and enjoy your shop and your beer fridge and a you can turn your music up as loud as want and ain’t nobody gonna tell you not to and F with you— that’s why @Catmando
