So I found through a reliable source that many trucking companies are denying me because I’ve been on disability since 07’ for high functioning autism thus why I’ve been working part time. I’ve always been under the supervision of professional doctors for my treatment.
I did find a local moving company that’s willing to give me a shot. Right now, I need a source of income apart from my benefits that will bring me in some money and still keep my good health insurance. Thanks to all the help I’ve received and friends that I connected with on here. My end goal is goal in the next couple years is to drive semi’s. I’m only 36, so I have time. Thanks again.

How do the companies know you've been on disability?
-
Because every company that verifies employment with AutoZone knows I’ve worked part time.
austinmike and JoeyJunk Thank this. -
Does anyone have suggestions on where I can seek a trucking job?
austinmike Thanks this. -
How many more do you need? We’ve given you plenty of suggestions but when you get turned down by turds like Swift it’s tough to help you. You may have to wait until your driving record issues fall off your report. Even the mega’s are starting to be more selective.
Gearjammin' Penguin and lual Thank this. -
I don’t need your attitude. I need a small company willing to give me a chance that overlooks the fact that I’ve been on disability for the past 16 years.TroyTheDriver and austinmike Thank this.

Not giving you an attitude Boss. Just trying to be honest with you. If you spill your life problems on job prospects like you do on here no one will hire you. Big or small company.
Gearjammin' Penguin and Wendell_334 Thank this.
