Pallet lumber sucks, anyway you cut it it sucks, like already said snugging straps instead of reefing on them help, belly wrapping the middle of thetop bundles also helps, but I have had that crap come out and come loose no matter what I did with it, it is now on my do not hall list along with crushed cars and anything to or from menards
Shifted load of lumber

Did you double boards on front and rear. Keeps them from walking out.

It seems counterintuitive to not cinch them down. When they bow, the middle gets more loose than it may already be. Like the picture, the center was what slid out.CAXPT Thanks this.

like @Hyweighman said... double boards front and rear. But if things still want to move around and walk out, this is what you do, get a couple big bottles of 7up sugar pop. Pour where needed, when it dries the sugar is sticky and helps keeps things in place. 7up is clear and does not discolor the wood. No one knows until the bands are cut, by that time it's not my problem.
You gotta do what you gotta do when the shipper doesn't package their product for the ride.CAXPT Thanks this. -
Might actually just be better to throw a smoke tarp over the front of the top bundle to help retard the movement of any middle boards sliding out.
