I'm a Michelin guy, but the best alignment guy I know swears the 591 is as good. I've got no personal experience with them.

All we run are FS591s.

I get great prices on Michelin, so that’s what I have been using. Been replacing the steers due to road damage. Just wondering if the compound is more durable on 591… Anyone have experience with both and can compare durability?

Michelin’s quality has gone down, while their prices have gone up.
I’ve either run Bridgestone or Michelin on the steers for over twenty years, but my next set of steers will probably be Firestone (which is made by Bridgestone anyways.)Onemanshow, Opendeckin, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this. -
Personally my Volvos only like Michelin or Yoko 101zl, get over 160k from them and then use as trailer tires. Bridgestone, Firestone and Continental needed to be replaced at 80-100k.
D.Tibbitt Thanks this.
