And never be afraid to ask.
Been doing this for 11+ years, and there's still one spot I'd appreciate help. And so I ask. Doesn't hurt my pride a bit.

So did I, LOL. Seriously though, facebook drivers really do suck, and they definitely don’t help each other.

Good job on not hitting anything. Don't be ashamed to get out and look as many times as it takes to get it in the hole safely!

Driver, you're experiencing what things should be.
Remember your experience, and how you felt.
We all start somewhere, and when we give a little of our experience to others, we ultimately make the world a little better place.
Knowledge is one that that's best when shared.
You made the right move in getting assistance.
That tells me you're thinking, and that's excellent.
    Stay safe

Always remember the most successful back you have is the one you get into a dock/parking space safely without hitting anything… like many others of said, goal, get out and look… Many of us with the vast experience still get out and look to this day. when we’re unsure of a tight spot we’re backing into…

Just remember, if any of them ever seem rude they're saving your bacon. Buy them dinner, if you're able. I tried making a tight uturn once in a truckstop and almost clipped another trucks hood. Guy that honked at me thought I was walking over to talk down on him or yell at him after I parked. I thought he was going to cry when I said thank you and offered to buy him some chicken.

    Helping others costs nothing.
Kindness is repaid a thousand times over.
I guarantee that driver will remember you forever.
When we help others, and show compassion, we make the world a little better for all drivers.
We all have rough days, we all have minor lapses in judgement.
We get tired, fatigued, and aren’t on top of our game at times.
We rush to finish whatever we’re doing, and that’s when it bites us the hardest.
If we’re able to recognize it in ourselves, we’re better able to recognize it in others.
Take that moment and blink your lights to help that driver switch lanes safely.
Back out slightly to help them pass safely.
    Move over when you can.
See something amiss with another truck? Tell them or leave a note.
When we each do what we’re able to in the moment, the ripple effect is tremendous.
    Forgive those who don’t.

Thank you for being bright enough to accept help when offered!

Last year after 2 failed attempts a newer driver ripped open the side of my trailer after deciding he was too good to accept my help! He really looked stupid standing there looking at the damage explaining what happend to his company. My phone call to his employer put lots of focus on his refusal to accept any help!
