Sooooo, what are you running and how long have you been doing it?
Frankly, you sound like a troll.
First time poster, telling everyone how to run their business.
    But, I could be wrong.

The biggest concern with this is when most shippers our giving out contracts there looking for a large bulk of equipment.

I've tried this route at a few local places that were constantly on the broker boards , asked about being contracted and they just refer me to the brokers.

So in general yes you our right you should try and sell your services directly but definitely don't over sell that won't fly not when they already working with brokers it's pretty hard to get past that barrier

Another option is networking with friends and family and trying to find a business through them. And setting up a deal with that business.
