If you're ever in the mood for some midnight moonlight horror stories just read the broker reviews on DAT, any of them, take your pick. Now that is some scary reading. So it's pretty obvious DAT could care less about what goes on between 2 outside parties, THEY already got THEIR money from both of those parties. Quality control to them is just making sure the site/app is up and running 24/7, not who buys a subscription.

 

Alright, so what exactly is happening with Meadow Lark Agency Inc? I do have unpaid invoices from them, I see the bond getting canceled tomorrow, probably because of the claims exceeding the limit, but they have a new insurance on file too. I’m kind of curious if they are in fact going under? They’ve been around longer than I’ve lived tbh.

 

No. Only for loads when it was in effect.

 

One thing DAT did do is tell some larger brokerages to stop posting the same load 10 different ways. They threaten to kick us of the platform.... so ghost posting a load, posting out of Laredo and San Juan for the same load (I can explain why this is done if you'd like) posting the same load every 10 mins to keep it up top on the postings is BAD..... but calling me acting like a carrier MC#, then posting my load right up for less with the broker MC#, then lying the whole time, and not paying the delivering carrier is acceptable. Makes perfect sense.

 

I personally never book with Surge, but see their loads posted all over. Always thought they double broker.

 

THEY do care about some brokers and not allow bad review posting. In my case review was removed due to "too much load details". If broker name and designation is too much then wow.
