So instead of GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating), 'they' prefer, perhaps... NVWR?
The Gross word is just SO gross. All the bad implications that go along with it.
Nice Vehicle Weight Reduction is a much better term.

You just gotta know which states and locations will give chase.
I don't know but have heard of a few states the scale guys have no ability to chase but will sometimes have state trooper there to give chase.
It's a little nerve racking the first few times you blow a scaleFeedman, Coffey, blairandgretchen and 4 others Thank this. -
Tennessee northbound on I65 before Kentucky was one you could ignore and drive by lol. Before they closed it down. Looks like in NC the scalemaster is in their personal vehicle so if there's not a trooper car there you're probably good to roll on by but I never tested it before.

When my truck is moving I allow Drivewyze to run in the background so I don't have to open the app for every weigh station or forget and then get pulled in. The running background service from the Drivewyze app doesn't have much of an influence on battery drain on Android based on my experience and usage. $179.99 for the year or $17.99 per month is a low enough price for me to justify paying for the service.Last edited: Jul 1, 2023

Two scales I constantly see being ran is i40 just west of Knoxville and i77 north of Charlotte. Guys just seem to be blowing passed those scales all day every day.

As far as you're concerned, the trucks going by are invisible... Because those drivers are putting out invisible vibes so hard it hurts, ya hear me? -
I pulled in and drove around back and went in to ask about it.
The officer said that if I get the bypass just to pass on by, no problem. He has it right there on his screen.MACK E-6, JoeyJunk and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
The place I work for we have them in all the trucks. It’s nice. Just cruise on by. But I think it has something to do with company safety and inspection scores. Could be wrong or just a pay to play thing.

Personally i dont care if they run it or go in. Eventually the runners will get caught and fined. If they are ligit its none of my #### business. Bout the only time i would care is if their truck is more or less on bloody fire.
