This one is interesting. Isn’t reclaimer that’s what we would call that machine too heavy for that truck ? That thing chews up asphalt and loads it up the conveyor into a truck ? That would be work for heavy tractor 3-4 axle and full low boy again 3-4 axles. That trailer seems ok but truck seems way to light duty

Hello, this is not cold asphalt mill (i have two). Very heavy ones, good load for 6-7 axle combination.

This thing is road pawing machine feeder, not very common to see. It allows non stop feeding to pawer for continious operation for big sites.
This thing weights 24300kg and it is about max what you can load on such trailer.
It is not legal to have load going so far ahead, but this is common practice. There was one accident where truck like this with cold mill hit traffic light with conveyor belt while cornering. None of weight goes on truck, belt is just hanging above...

As for money side....well considering i live here, this are quite expensive things comparing to our Living standard....but i dont waste money on anything else

 

We call that a buggy…. Wasn’t sure what it was…..

the biggest jobs use that here also , they keep going very slowly while they wait for next truck

 

Cypris went under recently. "Frank" ended up selling for $237,500 at the last Richie Bros sale here. Bad### Texas bed truck. This is a bush truck.

 

Are axles 2 and 6 steerable? How much does the crane weigh? How much does the emty truck weigh? Legal gross weigh?

If i am right it will get 20+20 +4x13k on axles.
Trailer will get 2x17k and 3x13k

Other version is with 7axle truck and 4axle trailer.

Crane is like what we had 50-55y ago...
