Yeah that would've been nice to get a few dollars. I was just I'm a bad position. I had no time left after I dropped at Hershey Friday. I'm not worked up about it for real. Travis hold up his end of the bargain most days when it comes to running me. Very rare have I encountered this situation. It's impossible to win em all lolThrasher28, Professor No-Name and mdmgolfin Thank this.

Yeah it's hard to win them all that's for sure. I was supposed to go to Arizona for the weekend but Nestle purina from out there called and said they didn't want to take the load till this next Friday so I ended up doing two trips to Ohio instead. I'm on the second one now. Works out to be about the same I'll have a few more hours left then I would have had I went out to Arizona.bryan21384 Thanks this.

Ain't that the truth. I've definitely had to learn that the hard way.mdmgolfin Thanks this.

Now that was a victory for real. That's so long to hold on to a load, unless a driver wanted to vacation in Arizona. That desert heat ain't always desirable lolmdmgolfin Thanks this.

Headed up to Torrington, WY for a Wednesday pickup -- can't really complain about waiting a day on July 4th near Denver, I reckon.
Hoping these climate miles I hear about pick back up after the 4th is over. Settlements have been 1840, 2400, 1800, and this week's check will be 2500 miles. I'll be pretty well shafted on next week's check doing two 34's back to back, which will be 1950 or so miles. Been home a total of 3 days since June 6th and averaging less miles than I did getting home almost every Friday and leaving Monday with a spot market only carrier. Not sure how my first 7 days were 3500 or so miles and it's fallen off the cliff since.
I'm sure you all are tired of hearing me complain on here lol, but just giving my personal experience if anyone else stumbles upon this thread looking for info.Last edited: Jul 3, 2023

Oh yeah I remember when me and the wife was running out there all the time how hot it would be you couldn't even step out the truck onto the top step without breaking a sweat.bryan21384 Thanks this.
