Teamsters Be Gettin Feisty

That was after my short tenure there..,,but I’m thinking it was after the Teamsters folded on 3 tier wage plan n Southeast

 

And you can thank the unions and the ability to unionize that every job possible isn't going to screw you over. You know no place to run all companies being abusive and everyone works for peanuts or starves, then what you say work for yourself? Crooked companies would have kept paying off crooked politicians and you wouldn't be able to do half of what you think!

The unions are a parasite that suck the life out of whatever they attach themselves to. Especially the teamsters and uaw. They have outlived their usefulness.

To some extent I agree, they need to be reeled in and the people in them need to stand up for the changes needed.
I am not all union and have worked both union and non union jobs, when posed with a vote to bring a union into a workplace I have voted both for and against at different times, places and different unions.
A union run by the elite will eventually succumb to the same type corruption our big buisness and politics is spoiled by! People in Unions need to pay attention and police those in charge the same as any entity you deal with.

 

No it's not. It is illegal to threaten to close a shop as a way of intimidating workers not to vote for the union. But the company can close a shop any time they want to for any reason they want to.

The reason that young generation is doing it is because most are lazy is my opinion. How dare you to ask a cashier to clean the lobby? Seeing Starbucks being a union all in itself should tell you how worthless union means.
