Yellow Running Out Of Money (And Possibly,Time)??

You read too much into it. I have one of those new cars and do almost every couple years. I can afford them just fine and have had plenty of them. To complain about the rich having more wealth is nothing but lazy thinking. I know people that came from nothing that have millions. I also know people that came from Big money that have nothing because they did not work for it or was not smart enough.

 

I like all my friends here both union and non union and there are pros and cons to both , Ive worked both sides and both had theyre advantages .
What I will NOT do here is bash union members or get into the age old argument of union vs non union .
I dont cross picket lines either.

 

Well, I'll say this much, another member here is doing $3400 a month in retirement (+SSI.....probably at least $2200), and that's a lot better than what I got. Will it last forever? Who knows.
But, I think we've dummed down or economically downed ourselves.
And, perhaps thats the point. Drive people down until they're happy with what they have.
It's ok. My wife and I took care of ourselves.......but, dang.....$5600 a month????
Any way you slice it, that's pretty strong.

 

They say "new equipment". Meanwhile I'm on my 4th tractor in 6 weeks because they are all old beat up garbage.

 

It looks like for now that the company won’t close the doors… The union stood fast and didn’t budge and yellow had to run to their lenders and their lenders worked out a plan. Where are the lenders will be over seeing their finances weekly and will be required to have a financial advisor Brought in by the lenders to watch over their books

In my opinion it proves the teamsters were right in standing their ground the way they did..that yellow has been negligent with their finances and such…
