Just browsing through DAT this morning laying in bed, same load posted 7 times in a row all in a span of 35 minutes. All 7 are still there.

 

I totally understand it can be irritating. I get so pissed on Saturday when 1 or 2 brokerages just post 100 times and it makes me have to do the same. But there are more issues with DAT than brokers posting the same load 7 times. They are literally getting hacked left and right, you think youre calling TQL because the posting says TQL, but the number listed on the posting goes to a scammer who has you pick up the load, then deliver it to a warehouse where its transloaded and stolen. Bad for the broker and bad for the carrier.

and as we have previously discussed on this channel, there are like 100 scam brokerages using DAT to scam and double broker. All based over seas, and DAT does very little about it besides trying to blame the brokers for the issues.

 

This is the reason I always call the broker from the contact information on website or their apps. In hardly ever use the DAT information because of this information.

 

Update: Meadow Lark Agency’s new bond is already cancelled, it lasted 5 days. Pretty clear they are going under.

 

I seen one of there trucks going down the road the other day. Tried to get the driver on the CB but no luck. I would like to know what is going on with them from the inside.


EDIT: I went and did a google search on them and man do they have some mad people in the reviews not getting paid.

 

Am I wrong in assuming that brokers & carriers have to have some sort of insurance or bonding so owner operators have recourse for payment?. Are you owner operators hauling loads and then not getting paid or am I misunderstanding something here?

 

Yeah they have some pretty bad reviews here lately the past few months. I started reading them back in march or April when they owed me money.

 

Funny u say that. I have never seen 1 of their trucks before. But i just saw one the other day in montana
