DHSCBP are a bunch of looney tunes (aka border patrol)

I'm in Toronto right now, and last night I got here via the Peace Bridge at 5PM eastern time.

The road was blocked on the canada-bound side, by US CBP (part of DHS, who likes TMDA), hassling everyone about why theyre going to canada.

They even hassled me about why im going to the duty free shop.

Is it just me, or is this retarded? Yeah, lets bust those illegal immigrants and drugzzz before they LEAVE the country. Would it not make more sense to be on the OTHER SIDE of the road? and catch the illegal immigrants and drugzzz when they ENTER the country?

Maybe they could set up such a checkpoint at the MEXICAN BORDER if they want to bust northbound smuggling...

and I really think that if someone is smuggling crap into Canada......it's canada's money to make off it. And if that crap was smuggled into the US, then the US should have made their money off it....before it got alllll the way through.....


And if I'm not supposed to go to the duty free shop, why is it there and why does it have truck parking?

Why do they always do this crap in rush hour?

Why wasn't there a similar checkpoint on the US bound side?

CBP is even more looney tooney than most trucking companies!

 

ALso notice the fact that they harrassed me LEAVING the country. What the hell am i going to do to them when I leave? blow up the peace bridge? Omg! They werent doing anything special for people coming IN. wtf?

i love the signs they have at the peace bridge that say that if you have more than 10,000 in cash with you that you have to declare it. hahaha.

Why would you get canadian money at the duty free shop? Canadian money is only worth a penny less, they rip you off. I'd rather just spend american money up there.

You know what i thought was odd, was I was hungry and stuck an american quarter in a mechanical candy machine..and it took it. I suspect its because they go by weight and our quarters weigh more than canadian quarters...
