Interviewed with them recently for a driver trainee position here in NJ, even sent me for a full DOT physical and drug test ( he didn’t ask if I already had a DOT medical card, which I already did from a month before ) - didn’t care about my E restriction.

Then radio silence- so idk

Is sending and paying for applicants to get full DOT physicals just business as usual for Estes? I’m new to the game, and I probably read way more into it than it is. Anyplace outside of commercial driving and I’d be pretty certain they’re hiring me after making someone go through all that.

 

That’s the last step , for sure you’re hired, did you had the interview in person with the terminal manager?

 

Most companies are going to send you for a dot physical whether you have one or not. Just standard operating procedure nowadays.
