That's crazy that a solo driver gets those runs. I'd be all for that if they didn't have the driver-facing cameras.

The joys of trucking. t-r-a-f-f-i-c ......At 3 am, of course, no problem, right ? Trip planning but sometimes you are just "in it". As time goes by, you learn things and remember them, like, don't hit Dallas at 3pm !
Nahbrown, PacoTaco, North Pole Nightmare and 1 other person Thank this. -
Once my gps thought no trucks. Because it picked up the emergency turnaround for cops, wreckers and etc. Also it currently thinks a part of i95 north in Virginia is closed. Because of a closed rest area....Nahbrown Thanks this.

I leave Houston around 8 to 10 pm,stop in Alma for fuel and coffee, then go through DFW on 287 if going through Amarillo.I stop somewhere between Henrietta and Amarillo. If I go up 35 I don't stop until after Oklahoma City.
Sail right through DFW late at night. -
clearly we are driving because we were route planning ahead of time and using multiple gps apps to figure out our route. It was just weird that all of them kept taking me off of 635 asap.
We are actually driving it today but changed our route to I 55 to I 40 to I 30 to 635 to I 45
Good tip on changing to hazmat,drh72 Thanks this. -
I wouldn’t get near Dallas coming in that way, catch 19 south in Sulphur Springs
Nahbrown Thanks this. -
It was busy but moving fine. My wife slept
