At the title suggests, this is where I’m at. Wanting to get the front end done by putting the accessory drive and crank pulleys back on. My new accessory drive seal didn’t come with a plastic sleeve like the crank seal did and was wondering if I need to fabricate something before putting the pulley on? But before I do that I have to know how this little “L” shaped plug is installed by the 3/8”x1” woodruff key. IMG_4256.jpeg

Just set it in the keyway and press it in against the key. The flat washer will push against it and cause it to expand and seal off the keyway from leaking oil….

So, it goes on the outside of the pulley between the keyway and the flanged nut? There was no washer in the prior set up.

What does the accessory drive pulley and the crank shaft pulley torque to?

Correct, but there should be a washer in there

Acc drive pulley: 310 ft lbs
Vibration damper and pulley: 190 ft lb tightened in a star pattern
