Grocery store bill is getting high enough to raise my eyebrows. What used to cost me about $100 for a week and a half to two weeks now costs me $175-$225. I mean, yeah I splurge for OEM Oreos and not the Napa brand but ####. Used to spend about $25-$30 in lunch meat alone and walk away with 4 or even 5 pounds of it. Now the lunch meat is $50-$60 and all of it I get sliced at the Walmart deli. Just about having to go back to bologna I tell ya.fordconvert, JonJon78, D.Tibbitt and 5 others Thank this.

Hey it's convenient though right? That's actually a bargain on candy bars compared to "travel center" prices. Last time I looked king sized peanut butter cups was $5 at the Pilot

Really? That’s never happened to you before? I thought that was normal and a minute after your 10 then be back rolling?

Maybe when rates were $5 a mile from anywhere to anywhere and reloads paid that exact same rate, about what??? 1.5 years ago now during the false boom of covid free money? ELD sucks for running random load board freight. It's really inefficient. It sucks that the megas leveled the playing field like that on experienced o/o who don't need to be babysat. Lots of time gets donated and wasted for free on ELD especially when freight is down.
Even it the best of times lots of money gets left on the table and it unnecessarily loses money. The sad part is you can't even make up for the inefficiency by running paper logs. 600 mile loads are scheduled with 48 hour transit times, no negotiation on that of course. Spot freight is a waste of time all the way around. And probably a waste of time costing money repositioning your unit to the good stuff too. Brokers are living the good life though. Easy money, fast cars, booze, blow, fancy vacations - all paid for by truckers.hope not dumb twucker, fordconvert, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this. -

Never, if you pay attention, it's already a recap, and the 14 and 11 are not related, although you see 3 minutes on both. Actually the 14 was 30 seconds more. And if you run out of either of them, you can't move for at least 7 hours, because PC is a violation as well.hope not dumb twucker, JoeyJunk and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
