Yes it is. That's why I like my job. I get to be miserable alone. To build up my positive reserves, to use on my customers.

ABF is laying off drivers and dock workers every day on the West Coast. Specifically in Oakland and Los Angeles. Not sure about the other terminals. As soon the new contract kicked, they gave a lot of us that voted in the new contract, the boot.

 

Unfortunately, I quit my long time job of 8 years to go to ABF. I was constantly being persuaded by family and friends that work at ABF that I need to go work for ABF. I finally decided to go to ABF. I quite my job, my seniority, my 1 month vacation time, everything to go to ABF. 2 months later, they lay me off. My previous employer is mad I left and don't want to rehire me. I got the short end of the stick on this one. I should have never left my previous job for this pipe dream
