There's a casino not far from us. When they were building it I talked to the manager about hauling and equipment rental...all the usual stuff. Nice guy. Native American from Tucson.
When we got done he asked "Are you going to come to the grand opening, do a little gambling?"
I told him "No, I don't gamble." He just laughed and said "Neither do we."
A year later they doubled the size of the casino and put in a hotel. They're still not gambling.![]()
Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

Ya, Four Winds is owned by Natives as well. As you turn in the lot they have a sign saying " Now entering a sovereign native land" or something of that nature. They list all the prohibited items.
I found that interesting though in South Bend, Indiana. Unless they somehow owned that land prior to the casino which, I'm doubting but could be wrong... Once they build a casino on the land does it automatically turn it into a sovereign land because its native? Do you know? -
Yes it’s native land. It belongs to the Potawatomi tribe. It was given back to them in the 90’s.

I like the smoke free ones since I am an X smoker. And most the time the different bets are on a different skew so it would not had won. They have there own spin cycle not the same on all spins money settings if that makes any sense.

Hello, Professionals!
I'm that guy who got fired because I refused to forge a logbook. And I'm that guy who wanted to become an owner-operator. And after a lot of research, I just got a job at another company. I just don't see the math working in favor of the owner operator. I'm so frustrated and disappointed because I've been trying to save up for my dream of being an owner operator for years. And once again I'm knocked out of the game.
Thank you guys, you are the best teachers for me and this forum is the best school for me.
Hope, one day!Phoenix Heavy Haul, Rideandrepair, seamutt and 5 others Thank this. -
You can still work and save money for a truck, no need to get discouraged quite yet. Were you wanting your own authority? You could always get a truck and lease to a carrier as a way to get started. There are plenty of decent companies out there that take owner operators on and still give you plenty of freedom to do things how you want.Deere hunter, Rideandrepair, D.Tibbitt and 5 others Thank this.
