Also keep in mind that if ya ever get a coke load to glenwood springs co I would definitely stuff it full at aurora co. We did that run one time an then went to monte vista. I ended up having to get approval from dispatch for a little insurance fuel at the t/a in oakley ks to make it to salina. Can't quite remember where we filled up at on the way out that time.

Hey @57 model , I was a wondering how you are a getting along. Hopefully you see this post.
bryan21384 Thanks this. -
So apparently the Loves in Bennett CO is the new FJ/TA of Denver lol. Packed completely full at 1pm on a Sunday. Rolled down a few exits to the little Conoco makeshift truck stop, getting a 34 in while babysitting this load that doesn't deliver til 0500 Tuesday morning 20 miles down the road. Waiting for the sun to start setting so I can get a couple good pics of the Rockies for all my fans back home lol

Yea that loves is a hard one to find parking in. Also not very easy in an out imo.bryan21384 Thanks this.

Just a little concerned here. Does dispatch not give preplans? I've had 3 loads so far, and I haven't gotten a single preplan. Closest I've gotten was this load I'm on, and I didn't get it til after I was already in a dock. And it was a 4 day babysit load from MO to Denver that doesn't deliver til 0500 tomorrow. Sat here all day waiting finishing this reset, and I haven't gotten a single message. Do we have to hound dispatch for preplans? Or do they just not send you a new load til you get to rec?
bryan21384 Thanks this. -
For some reason, they don't send pre plans like most companies. You probably have a load assigned to you, but it doesn't send til the empty call. It seems if you do get a pre plan, it's because they have another following it stacked on top. I'm not sure how it works, but I've been 'sent' a load at 9pm on a Sunday, so it's definitely pre-assigned
You can ask them for your pre plan info if you're curious thoughdwells40 and bryan21384 Thank this. -
@bryan21384 you were spot on with your estimate. Seems like you've done this beforeLumper Humper, dwells40 and bryan21384 Thank this. -
I sometimes asked for it ahead of time before I made my delivery so I could plan ahead.

Dang even with the added parking it was full? Usually, I go all the way to Coke and park there for the night, especially if it's 40th street, then you can creep in there. I park at that building across the street. If you ever get 40th St Coke in Denver again, they will take you early if you get there when they open.dwells40 Thanks this.

It's always a safe bet to plan on a back haul to Missouri or Illinois. Sometimes they send you preplans, sometimes they don't. It's more common to get a preplan when they see you've completed your backhaul quickly. Sometimes if you have a super early delivery appt, they will send a load ahead of time. If you're getting empty during business hours, it's a crapshoot whether they'll send you one. Some drivers ask for the next load. I never ask for it because I don't like to bother dispatch anymore than I have to. Climate makes it easy to run these loads so for me it doesn't make that big of a difference to know ahead of time. I picked up in Mississippi this morning and I got my next load information as I was leaving the 2nd pickup lol. They wanted me to drop at Craftsmen then head to Hershey to pick up for Dallas. It was 300 and some odd miles so they gave me heads up with what they wanted me to do with that load going back up.
