    I have to confess that I've been lurking here for about a month. I've really enjoyed getting to know you. I have learned so much from all of you already and hope to learn more.

    Shookup.....my heart goes out to you. I've been praying for your situation.
    Nana....you are full of wisdom and an absolute hoot!!
    Lavender....I admire you and you are an inspiration to me.

    As for the guys......
    Oldie....I've not quite made up my mind about you.....LOL

    For everyone that I didn't mention, I apologize for not remembering your names. My brain only works for so long each day....LOL

    I'm a Christian, single mother of a 16yo boy, and play keyboard at my church. Before you think I'm a youngster, I just had my 55th birthday.:biggrin_2551:

    I am currently in school at Crowder in Neosho and hope to test out next week. I'm known as the "Guinea Pig" because I'm the first person to do the classwork online and then drive down for my practice. I only live 34 miles away, so it's worked out good for me. Plus, I get a trainer all to myself for 2 hours of practice.....LOL.....and some days I've needed those 2 hours!!!!!

    I have a son the same age, so feel free to yap about trying to figure out teens! I was a single mom for 13 years, now I'm a trucker's wife, so I hear ya on the single mom journey too.

    And I also play keyboard, and teach piano, although my day job is as an RN.
