Inside Walmart’s Warehouse of the Future - Brooksville, FL

So who gets the blame for forklift holes in the trailer lol .. I’m guessing this will end odd sized pallets where product over hangs a bit.. also does it load pallets tight or leave a gap leading to load shifts ?? PS eliminate enough jobs and you go bankrupt when no one has a income to buy your products.. I’m glad I don’t support Walmart since the cashier thing came in ..

 

It works until it doesn't work.

 

I picked up a load at Niagra Water in Brigham City UT, near the Loves. It was automated. At the gate you talk to the computer screen to some remote location. They assign you a door and a robot loads the trailer. When you are empty you pull up and wait for the yard truck driver to bring you paperwork. When you leave you enter your info on the computer screen at the gate. I'd rather see that for the rest of my life than even the best experience with a lumper at the best reefer warehouse.
