Actually what I have in the works. I got a connection through my school that hires new grads and I already talked to the recruiter and applied. It was late Friday so I'll see what's what tomorrow.

 

There's not going to be demand for former union drivers.

 

They won't hire former union drivers. Those companies have tried that in the past with horrible results.

 

On one of the videos posted over the weekend by mutha trucker he spoke with the steward of the Boynton beach, yellow terminal, and he said he had a friend of his up in the southeast I believe Alabama area that got laid off from yellow, and went to talk to Saia and the terminal manager informed him that he had a memo from corporate. They are not to hire any drivers from yellow for union reasons.

 

I once worked for a non-union division of Yellow (YRC) pulling reefers. No former union drivers were hired because they always started problems trying to unionize. A Holland terminal close by and they constantly complained because we were not union. Really none of their business because we voted against unionizing and made a good living there.
