Should we be able to use cannabis on our time off?

My belief is irrelevant. Research has proven that THC and/or its metabolites can be re-released into the body after being stored in fat cells.

If detecting impairment wasn’t an issue then we more than likely would not be discussing this. I haven’t read anyone whining about said tests or regulations. Anyone with a fraction of common sense are completely aware of what is expected to be compliant. Hair tests are inconclusive because they give out false positives. That is why the federal government doesn’t recognize them. Only private companies. But, you already knew that , didn’t ya? I thought so. Your hang up is that you have a serious prejudice against pot use. That is quite alright. People that use marijuana are not all the way you see it at all. All walks of life and much more intelligent than you and I. Many people do need and use it medicinally. Haven’t heard of a six pack of Lonestar helping anyone out medicinally other than maybe a laxative. You seem to be set on the bad stigma about the use of cannabis. Good luck to you.

 

OK DR. RockinChair. Do you honestly believe fat cell storage of thc is going to get said person high later? If so, I have some beach front property in South Dakota for sale that you might be interested in. 70% of THC is extracted while taking a crap. 20% is pissed out. Yes, it does store in fat cells before eventually it is metabolized out of the system. Length of time it stays with you depends on your age,weight, and metabolism. LOL Just another stigma professional

I have a prejudice against lazy people and excuse makers that won't take responsibility for ANYTHING.
The natural consequence of the weed people wanting an impairment tests and the MADD people will be an interlock device that requires every truck driver to pass a test before every start of the engine. So the net result of the weed crowd will be MORE govt power over more people, but the weed people won't care because they just want their weed. They call it dope for a reason, many good reasons. Weed users should have fixed every problem there is if weed didn't wipe out motivation and increase appetites. It's almost like weed users can't make good choices, just gain weight and work less. I've never said a good thing about alcohol. The rules are clear, follow the rules or work where the rules don't apply. It's just a harmless weed, it's non-addictive, it's natural it should be as easy to avoid as poison ivy. Instead people throw away jobs and more while defending their harmless weed.

 

Common sense questions keep coming. Yes and yes blah blah blah. I don’t think the weed people want any tests. I could be wrong, but I don’t think I am. Are all(or even a small percentage) of weed people lazy excuse makers that except no responsibilities for anything? You are suggesting people with substance abuse problems. Again it is your harsh beliefs that are very wrong toward people that choose marijuana over other alternatives to relaxing or medicating. We all know the guidelines and regulations.
