If you are strictly "local"..."home daily"...& "no-touch freight"....then you should look for "shuttle" jobs in the food service sector.

I was 38 and pretty stout, when I started. In 5yrs of ramping 80K-120K pounds of food per week, my body is shot. I had 5 surgery procedures, in 2010. I regret every one of those pounds I delivered. I hurt, every single day. Just holding a steering wheel all day hurts. You have no idea what all those motions of your joints and gripping all those boxes and hand cart will do to you.rollin coal, Lonesome, Kenworth6969 and 1 other person Thank this.

The ad on Indeed indicates that the job is located in Douglas. Also, I’ve lived in this area all my life, but I wouldn’t say it’s completely in the middle of nowhere. While there are no big cities nearby (no complaints there), there are several other towns not far away. Usually within 20-30 miles there’s always another town.ducnut Thanks this.
