Apollo is senior in the capital structure, ahead of the bank revolver and the U.S. Treasury. Be extending Debtor in Possession financing, they will be able to exercise significant control over the bankruptcy process. Seeing as they get paid first, they have an interest in seeing that assets liquidated at the best prices...if it goes that way.
