I bobtail around St. Charles to eat too....that Sugarfire BBQ is quite nice! That's my go to when I am spending the night there. There's an Italian and a Mexican joint nearby that's on my bucket list

You know it just dawned on me that I hadn't eaten at El Tapatio since I've been back. I need to add that to the short term bucket list lol.

Anyone ever request a 34 because you just needed a break? If so, how did dispatch respond?

    bryan21384 Thanks this.

Technically, they can't force someone to drive if they're tired. Just give a few day heads up of 'if you have a load with extra time in a few days, I'd appreciate a 34' or something along those lines. You won't be doing yourself any favors if you give them a one day heads up lol.

I do all the time, except I request to do a 34 at home when I feel burned out. If you're out on the road, they'll look at your clock, and if you're low on hours, you'll get brought back and they'll park you at the yard or something. That's happened a few times to me. If you need a 34, they'll most likely grant it on the weekend. If you need rest, they're very understanding to that

I had forgot that, I believe sometime ago you or someone on here had talked about the bbq place not being here at Oak Grove anymore. The Mrs. An I knew we were gonna be staying here last night, and was a thinking we were gonna finally get to try out that place. I then realized upon entering the petro that it's no longer there.

Lumper Humper and bryan21384 Thank this.
