    Amazing how some of the companies listed as most admired have the highest turnover rate and most complaints from labor. No way JB or Werner should have made that list based on social responsibility alone. Those guys are dirty as they come

    I'm pretty sure that this voting was done based on Wall Street types, not truckdrivers or highway users.

    You know after reading that and aww the posting about both JBHunt and Werners I knew right away that it was going to be a good posting.

    These awards usually have little or nothing to do with employee satisfaction.

    Though these companies will happily flaunt awards like these (such as JBH's "Award Winning" lease) - without mentioning the source - usually some big business organization.

    And we're talking about Fortune magazine, "labor" has little to do their focus or target market.

    These ratings are based on making money, and market position - and little else.

    That said, it's easy to see why YRC didn't make the cut. :biggrin_25512:

    They don't know how far off wrong they are. Maybe if they talk to actual drivers they would have the right info.
