Russia faces acute shortage of truck drivers

Maybe they are all over here

 

they got drafted.

 

exactly, they are needed more on the war front, than on the roads.

Russia has been staring a demographic disaster in the face for years, this is arguably the biggest reason why they took action against Ukraine when they did (because they actually had the manpower during this time).

Unless/until nations begin repopulating in a massive way you can expect manpower shortages to continue, North America and Europe are no different.

 

I worked with a Russian truck driver in Philadelphia. He loved his Wolwo. He said he was more Soviet than Russian.

He used tell me stories.."in Sowiet Union".. I miss that guy. Great driver.

 

They also saw we are short of drivers..

 

Drivers bltch about how nasty some of the truck stops in America are. I hate to think of what they're like in Russia.

 

Wonder how many potential drivers will be applying for visas to go work in Russia?
