    Wanted to say hello and it appears that y'all have a real nice site.

    I'm a former full time OTR (1994-2001) driver turned mortician, but still get to satisfy my urge of driving a truck by filling in part time for a friend.

    I stumbled across the site while doing some research for a book I'm writing about my travels.

    Seems like everyone here is pretty friendly, so why not join up, perhaps I can add my 2 cents when/if needed.

    The first thing I noticed was the Qualcomms... When I first read "Qualcomm" I thought everyone was referring to cell phones(I had one back in the day, it was a piece of junk).

    I didn't have a computer, no GPS, and most importantly- no pee bottles all over the place!

    I was at the Flying J near Tampa, FL and they were all over, that seems to be a somewhat new thing as I never remember them, or at the very least people threw then away back then.:biggrin_25520:
