My trouble is mainly large rifle and 80 bucks a thousand sound about right. I remember 25 a brick, things have changed for sure.
Do any of you have hobbies that you bring to help with down time?

yeah, i am too new to reloading, so sadly, i have to pay the higher prices. but you guys that have been reloading for decades are hurting more with the pricings, as you all recall the much lower prices.
which is why, (and when i can), i am stocking up on primers at least...powder, i'd like to only keep on hand a minimal amount. as i'd not like my house to be a poster child for an explosion. -

Nah jus the ones with new motors
Tall Mike, Last Call and Big Road Skateboard Thank this. -
Post 2001 motors. Finding a company that runs trucks from the 90's is going to be challenging. Even more so if you expect that old equipment to be in any kind of decent shape. Unless you're an O/O then I suppose you could maintain your old tractor to your standards

Absolutely beautiful tractor. Unfortunately your yard is an anomaly in the industry. Most are full of newer automatic Cascadia's or Volvo's. Companies putting drivers in real trucks are in extremely short supply.

Can’t argue with that.....course along the same lines....drivers that can handle rides like this and get the job done are getting awful scarce these dayz
-
Yeah, especially if they have the 16 liter CAT. Putting a new driver in that is like giving your teenager a Hellcat. Those are typically also with an 18 speed which most drivers never learned on. The vast majority of manuals are 10 speeds and even those are getting rare. So I agree, putting a driver who probably only ran DEF infested neutered tractors with autos into something with real power isn't safe.

They're still out there.
