I don’t have any chain on the trucks as of Thursday lol

 

Been there, back in the days when the housing market was booming, I only carried straps and rope. I had stored all my chains. But then, things changed and had to go back into my storage and dig everything skateboard related back out. I haul for 2 different carriers, so I have to be ready for the unexpected haul. Normally though, it’s cranes or fabricated steel and some precast pipe. I don’t have it easy like @booley

 

@Diesel Dave I don’t carry any chains either. I carry some 2” straps and use the customer’s winches and straps. We have a whole pallet of heavy chain and binders at the yard for heavier stuff and equipment but that’s above my pay grade ​

Almost forgot about yesterday’s adventure. Went 20 miles west of Walcott Iowa to get this trailer. Then up to Milwaukee to get this cute little D4 to bring home to a customer.

Anyone know of a kit you can buy to install a rear air bag dump for a spread axle? Or send me in a direction to get it on my trailer?

Anyway here is a miracle load. I call it a miracle load because it’s $3.85 a mile from Wyoming to Texas and I’ve never seen a load paying this much out of WY in months.
