Last time I was in there an asked about that, they said that when T/A bought that up, that Dotties continued on a two or three year contract. After that it remains to be seen as to wether or not the restaurant will change. I hope not myself. Dotties is a killer place to eat.

Reloading sugar out of Gering for Goodlettsville, TN on Monday. Might pay a buddy for a ride home to Bowling Green and take a 34 at the house. Somehow, this location is even quicker than Torrington. Will have to make my weekly terminal detour tomorrow to get a set of brake shoes and maybe a tire on this trailer per Larry's instructions lol. Tire is worn like it was never balanced. Looks like the trailer got new shocks recently, so maybe that's what it was. Worn worse than the picture in some spots and worn wonky all the way around. Not sure what could cause wear that irregular. Parts of the tire at 8/32 and some spots are 1 or 2/32. Pretty drastic whatever it is

I drove by Oxford the other day. My truck key has an Alabama lanyard so I felt pretty smug lolmotocross25 Thanks this.

I am gonna be delivering Monday in Memphis. Gonna be in the neighborhood of I-55, Hwy 14, mallory an latham st at a feed place not far from a fed ex ground terminal. Is that an ok area to park overnight Sunday night? It looks like mainly an industrial area from what I could gather from the satellite views.bryan21384 Thanks this.

Oh yeah I think you should be fine there. I'm thinking it's Specialty Feed you're delivering to. If you're coming in from Arkansas, you'll need to take the I-40 Bridge into Tennessee and take the long way around. It's major construction on 55 once you come in off that bridge, and I think the exit past the bridge is closed. Latham St is on the right a little ways past the exit if you keep straight as opposed to making thay right, but that part of Latham isn't a truck route so you'll have to go in on 40, go 240 south, then jump back on 55 north to the Mallory St exit.Professor No-Name Thanks this.

That is some bumpy wear in the pic, but if it were me, I'd actually run with that tire. It isn't a pretty tire, but I wouldn't lose sleep about it. There are trailers we have that get bumpy wear like that, and they legit have bald spots on the tires. Perhaps components of the suspension system ain't right to cause that. Also too, I think yard dogs tear up a lot of stuff. I see them hook to trailers and try to pull off with it before the trailer is even all the way aired up, and they're dragging that bad boy without the wheels even turning.
I'm parked in front of the Coke in Dallas for a preloaded trailer going to St. Charles. I hope it's preloaded. There have been times I thought it would be preloaded but ended up having to live load. Honestly, it isn't bad to live load here because they're about as quick doing so, and they've taken me early a couple of times. Gotta good nap at that delivery I'm Ft. Worth. It got to 110 degrees when I got there. Talk about stupid hot.
Thay Gering, NE sugar plant is a good one to load out of. All of them are easy loads, though I haven't heard the kindest words about one, which I think is in Sterling, CO. Are you running to AWG with that load?Professor No-Name, mdmgolfin and Thrasher28 Thank this. -
I ran to CO and back with it. It doesn't bother me to run with it, but if brake shoes are right at 1/4" and tire is right at the line of violation, I don't see much harm in adding the 20 miles to route down 47 to 44 and get it taken care of. With the blitz week coming up, and a 21.6% OOS rating, I don't want to take any chances lol. If this was a hot load going to Columbia or something, I wouldn't worry about it.
That Dallas reload isn't terrible. They're never quick with live loads, but usually always out before the 3 hour mark, so it's alright I guess. And they load them well so they can always scale out in my experience.
I haven't been to Sterling. I know the reviews I see online for all of them emphasize the importance of clean trailers. I'm thinking a lot of the negative reviews are from those that define clean as no raw chicken juice floating in the reefer troughs
. Yes, this load is going to AWG. I don't know if Goodlettsville is as bad as the one in Southaven, but it's 4am, so hopefully out by noon either way
Professor No-Name, mdmgolfin and bryan21384 Thank this. -
Oh i got ya. I detour to the yard all the time to get stuff fixed, or to have somewhere to sleep. I don't even tell anyone that I'm doing that lol. It just beats the hell out of sitting at the TA ot any of those other shops.
I used to work for Dr. Pepper Snapple Group nearby that AWG. If you need a spot to crash for the night, that's good hideout. Trucks will park there when they had to deliver to DPSGAttached Files:

Oh ok, thx for the helpful tips. I just talked to the customer an they said that there is on street parking. Their gates are locked over the weekend. An yea it is specialty feeds. Gonna load rice somewhere after that going to Kansas city. Will probably need to find a washout 1st though. Nobody likes to load product after I've hauled meat an bone meal.motocross25 and Thrasher28 Thank this.
