You'll have access to more opportunity & money -- if you are willing to pull hazmat loads.

That's a long day and many Amazon loads have only about 30 seconds of slack built into the schedule, if that.

You’re either touch (called a “customer deliver specialist/CDS”) or no-touch. If you’re no-touch, you never touch a box.
Not true at all. Office folks are M-F, so no one is in the front offices on Saturday. Plus, they just bought all the adjacent field property and have started on expansion.
Trust me. If you’ll put some effort into these guys, on Monday, you can spend the rest of your career there. Ol’ Dick spent his whole career, there.

What I meant was they only have 2 positions open in CA on their website and Modesto doesn’t have positions open on their website

Apply anyway. Go in person as @ducnut advised.
Websites are never up-to-date. -
This is an OTR job?

They’re always hiring drivers. Dot opening Bullhead City took a huge workload off Modesto. Previously, Modesto serviced the LA basin, but, Bullhead took over that. If you show the initiative and can get in to see Gabe, you stand a chance. I’d approach reception with the idea you’re seeking guidance from Gabe; not simply seeking to apply. Like I’d previously mentioned, transportation is in that little building out front, with the trailers along the back line.
I’d call no-touch “regional”. Typically, they meet other drivers, swap trailers, then, come back. Some do run all the way to Mt Sterling, Burley, Bullhead, etc. No-touch do customer deliveries , where lumpers do all the unloading. I’ve done that for Modesto and I was a Mt Sterling no-touch driver. In fact, I’ve done that for almost every one of their DC’s. I just did whatever was offered. So, it just depends on you and what is available. The more versatile one is willing to be, the more opportunities there will be.
