Positions that require a respirator for use during load, offload, or emergency use. Some food product handling that a hairnet won’t cover. Oakley trucking out of N. Little Rock may not like it.

Have/had similar type beards pulling hazmat tankers never had a problem.
Only Quality carriers had a policy and back when I wanted to learn the tanker side of things I shaved just to get my foot in the door. After 3 day orientation was over I let it grow back in and never heard a word about it most guys a my terminal had facial hair anyways. Stayed there about 1 1/2 yrs before moving on.Speed_Drums and tscottme Thank this. -
Only job i ever had that made me shave was the oilfield. And that was because i was dealing with fatal levels of H2S crude oil...so i can see the why of it.
MOST companys dont give a crap, long as its well groomed and clean. If your not sure, then you can ask them. Many have policys on the book, but really only enforce them if your beard looks and smells like a bird lived in then died in it.tscottme, austinmike, hope not dumb twucker and 2 others Thank this. -
Refineries usually dont allow facial hair at all. Prob stricter at some thatn others but id atay away from places that go to them.

So your saying don’t leave snacks in it for later.tscottme Thanks this.

I work for a big cryo manufacturer and we don't have a hiring policy for facial hair, but if you go to a facility that does you will need to shave to acceptable limits i.e. enough to satisfy respiratory mask requirements.
Mostly chemicals and refinery's.tscottme, hope not dumb twucker and austinmike Thank this. -
You joke but ive seen guys who leave entire fridge contents in the beard. Had one guy i worked with back when i first started working whos beard would drip grease when he got hot. Also always had a rancid lunch meat smell.Sons Hero and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

That’s just nasty. Unless he just changed oil and thought it would make the beard softer

Yep. I've been at chemical plants checking in where they handed a driver a razor and pointed to the restroom. Told him shave to acceptable limits or leave. For the most part that means only a mustache that doesn't extend past the ends of the lips so a respirator can be worn.
