Wild allegations are fairly common with divorces.

Hold a yard sale. Would serve her right. I had a yard before moving to Texas. "Free" stuff wasn't stolen when left unguarded in the yard overnight, but it was when we put a price on it. :D

Your criminal history will show the arrest but the disposition will show dismissed - not convicted It shouldn't have any bearing on getting hired anywhere other than they may ask you about it. This comes from reading criminal histories for many years.

I'm just trying to make sure you're using the right terminology.

An arrest is not a charge. You arent charged until its presented to the DA and he formally files the complaint & "charges" you with the offense.
If the complaint was dismissed by the DA before he formally "charged" you.... you weren't ever "charged".

There's three steps in the process up to that point.
    Arrest
    Charges
    trial/court etc

Your complaint was dismissed but at what point?
    After arrest,
    prior to charges,
after charges, but before court or
dismissed by the judge at/during trial?

I'm not calling you out..... just making sure we know exactly what the correct situation is so you can get the best answers/help.

Watch the documentary Divorce Corp on youtube. This can be a tactic advised by attorneys to gain leverage or get a man to leave the family home so she can move mr new into it.

Unfortunately in todays society, you can be a upstanding citizen for decades but get a false allegation from a former partner who wants to make you out to be the villain, ruin a career etc etc.

All i can suggest is to document everything and no longer answer your phone if she, her friends or family reach out. Unless the communication is about divorce treat her as if she jumped off a cliff.

Had similar scenario. A crazy woman will ruin your life faster than anything in existence. Learn from it and find yourself a nice, calm, loyal woman. The woman I dated used to get violent over anything and everything. Chased me with knives, kicked, punched, broke everything in sight. Nothing ever happened to her. One night she went crazy in the condo parking lot and the cops showed up. They almost took me to jail until they realized she was nuts. That was the last night I ever saw her. Dumped!
If the charges were dismissed, that’s about all you can do. Most men don’t realize that in most states, prosecutors will still pursue most domestic violence cases to the end to teach you a lesson even if they know there’s no case. They’ll take them all the way to trial.
The real abusive men who truly abuse women almost never get caught. Moral of the story, if you detect a woman is unstable, RUN! She’ll ruin your life with a smile on her face.
