Well we’ve been getting extraboard runs lately, like 580 miles loaded then 580mty somewhere, been stuck in the 80-90 loop, now is weird that we get cross country loads thanks to Adam and Covenant

Des Moines to Denver and back in a loop, the Chef's kiss. Think it was 678 each way, about 10.2 hours of driving. Drove it until I didn't have any more hours one week, 6 legs.
You have to learn to control Central to your likes and dislikes. Central's priorities are not necessarily yours. There's a give and take between you two. You'll learn!

Thing is Adam seems to be the type of ppl who you can’t give suggestions cause he thinks he knows it all, my guess is that he’s new and trying to give a good impression, he’s trying too hard I mean, instead of giving us cross country runs which we deliver way faster than Covenant, he gives us short runs, more time at terminals means less time on the roads , we’re way more productive doing cross country runs than the short runs

Well I didn’t say we’re not getting the miles ee average 6,5k to 7k miles some weeks, i with that being said there’s one week when Adam sent us from Salt Lake to Washington then from Washington to Chico,Ca - Chico, Ca to Eugene, Or , Eugene,or to Portland, then empty from Portland to SLc, when we arrived at SLc sent us in Bobtail to Grand Junction, Co- from there to Denver, from Denver to Colorado Springs then ended up in Farmington,NM which is one of the worst routes I ever drove so far( look it up Wolf Creek summit (or pass I don’t remember exactly) then you’ll know what I’m talking about , depending of what we have to do home we stay out 4weeks sometimes 6

He's not new, been there at least a few years. They have their priorities, needs to be met. You have yours. All the outside contractors are paid for wether they run or not. So they have priority over company drivers.

And I find that incredibly odd but I guess we're low on teams. I agree about the central thing. I guess I can say I've proven myself to our dispatchers. They pretty much give me whatever I want and do their best to look out for me. I'm really appreciative of them.

    EstesWest and dwells40 Thank this.

We already prove ourselves to Will, Tom , Mike, Melissa and Jhonny , they’re the ones who gives us long runs whenever they can or know how to connect us to a place where there’s one, Adam on the other hand…. I find it very frustrating dealing with him , also if Centrals priority are the Covenant teams and not their own teams, why do they need Estes Teams then?

Answer: They need both. It's just a fact, the pecking order. Estes can't hire enough teams. Look at it from their viewpoint, financially. It's a balancing act. At least your more valued than the single extraboard drivers. Actually your more valued than outside contracted teams. You are more capable than they are, hooking, troubleshooting, etc. But that doesn't necessarily translate to pecking order. Unless you make it so!

But didn’t you just said that the contractors have priority over us?
