Oh those are some bad ### birds. I've seen nature shows with those things. They beat the crap out of snakes with those feet. That spear mounted to the front of their head does some damage, too.

I’d get me a 410 revolver and load it with snake shot. Good times.

You can do that on your private property if you live outside city limits but the customer may not appreciate you shooting guns on their location. Rat/snake shot for .22lr is probably going to be a bit cheaper though and effective. In the army during field training I would just take off my blank firing adapter and blow their heads up with a blank.

II/V Cement in a barrel, let them go for a swim. Thats how we handle them here in the Mojave area, same with lawyers.

They used to post a lot of those rattlers coiled up by the door on the Cibolo/Schertz FB page but haven’t seen any lately.

The only time a rattle snake is dangerous is if you didnt see it
    No need to kill them

I'm sure we regularly hike very near to them, often. They like dark cool places, dont stick your hands into holes, you'll probably be just fine. Raised 4 Kids out here in the Mojave Desert, had a few that have wandered into (what we conside people area's) such as the house or garages, one was making noise on top of our Volvo's engine, All Western Diamond backs, I relocated them about two miles further out away from houses. They keep the rodent population in check. Dont corner them, they want to leave you alone, and will wander off if given the chance. If your not trained don't mess with them they are likely to win.
Mojave Greens stay away from them they will actually chase you, very agressive snake, unlike the diamond back. Mojave grenns are the ones in this area I will kill and bury in cement, cement because they are daedly after they are killed and I dont want someone to pickup a dead green and get scratched by there fangs, just as bad as when there alive.
