That section is always full of wrecks. Especially in the winter. Speed continues to contribute to most of the accidents. It’s 60 through there for a reason.

Professional drivers shouldn't stare at high-powered flashing lights, but they do. Don't stare at the sun or star at flashing lights at night, for the same reason. You don't need to look directly at bright lights, just use your peripheral vision, but when everyone had CBs you would hear one idiot after another talking about how bright those lights were. "Were you trying to read the serial number on the light bulb driver? Why are you looking directly into those lights?"

More proof that HOS are a total waste of time.

One could also argue that both of the daycab drivers manage their off time poorly, knowing that they would be driving the night shift.
