Professional drivers shouldn't stare at high-powered flashing lights, but they do. Don't stare at the sun or star at flashing lights at night, for the same reason. You don't need to look directly at bright lights, just use your peripheral vision, but when everyone had CBs you would hear one idiot after another talking about how bright those lights were. "Were you trying to read the serial number on the light bulb driver? Why are you looking directly into those lights?"Bud A. Thanks this.
