just curious what you mercer drivers are averaging for pay on a weekly basis? I did apply with mercer and got accepted.

I picked up a 10-foot wide load in Ft. Lewis, and am on my way to Annville, PA. It doesn't pay that good for an OD load, but it's light (12,000 lbs) and I can run during night in most states.

So far, I seem to be averaging about $3200~3400 gross with various mixture of long and short hauls.

Although I enjoy long haul, I'm going to try doing short runs in busy areas for the next few weeks.

 

Don't know if you are aware of this, but you can stay on the board and do short hops.

 

haven't talked to Dan for abt 3 days......I need to call today I guess he knows I have been swamped.....

 

Yeah, the coordinator told me about that. The plan is to stay east for a while doing regional/local runs, and grab a high-paying long run when it pops up, go home, and come back out east again.

 

oh and I have lost my little grey phonebook soooooo I can't call very many people till I find it...I don't program a lot of people into the phone.....
