You know I put alot of years in to work for a good company and I wouldn't have got there if I was breaking the law because I didn't think it was right. I get paid by the hour to abide by all the laws. And what they pay me is worth whatever they want me to do.

Entrapment...your quite the hoot aren't you? How is it entrapment when you have the posted speed limit signs up and down the highway. I have never seen the sign that says "OK to go any speed as long as there aren't any LEO's around" Encourage you to speed...I guess you don't understand that a speed limit is a LAW, not a recommended rate where you just pick and choose to your liking!
Although it says it in their Department name (patrol), they don't have to ride around and pace you anymore..it's called technology...and more accurate than a speedometer estimate of another vehicle...if you don't want a ticket or violation...stay within the speed limit...fairly simple!
I think you are thinking about AZ...CA is still fighting the camera thing in court
Not the posted speed limit...time of day...dictations reckless driving?????? What are you ranting about...you make no sense at all...you tend to get flustered and cognitive thought and reasoning don't sit well when you get upset do they?
Time management and speeding don't mix...you base the time required to deliver on time using the posted speed limits, and the number of miles to the destination...not the other way around!
And, I am not a bank or lending institution...I have credit, I don't issue it!
To whom? The Canadian drivers that get Km and MPH switched so they are doing 80mph thinking they are only doing 57mph with the conversion factor reversed? To help you here...57mph is approximately 80Kmph.
Now you switched positions...clever, very clever!
Now you want the LEO's to park outside the bars in anticipation of the DUI...do you need the officer to also drive them to the bar and his partner bring the patrons car for them to get home in? Now that would be entrapment by the way!
Police departments aren't designated driver squads for your information...that is what taxi companies are in business for!
I would like to have whatever you are smoking when I take a week off for vacation...must be some really strong stuff....again makes no sense!
Even at my age I am built fairly solid...but not solid enough to be called an interstate! How fast does an interstate go that I would need to let it slow down to cross it?
I had to read this a few times to figure it out...but I don't worry about where the LEO's are...I follow the rules!
I already have a headache...I'm done thinking about what you are trying to say...have another double, your cruiser is waiting outside to take you home!

Speeding is driving in excess of the posted speed limit.
The posted speed is a maximum speed for daylight hours in optimal conditions.
So if it is raining or snowing etc, you should not be going the speed limit.
If you are caught in excess of the speed limit you should get a ticket.
Saying all of this.
I speed most days. Usually only 4-5 miles per hour over.
Should I get a ticket? Probably. But there are allot of people they can give much larger tickets too all around me. So I do not worry about it too much.
In rain and snow I will not drive over the speed limit. The worse the weather the slower I go.
Think about this.
Most traffic jams are caused by speeders.
Most of the highways around major city's are large enough to hold most of that traffic. If everyone on it would go the speed limit, have proper space between cars etc. Most of the traffic issues would never occur.
People would be able to merge in with ease, and leave at the exit they need without stopping up other lanes.
Most of the accidents would not occur with the proper following distances and lower speeds.
This however will never happen till all cars on the road are automatic and driven by computer. Too many idiots in the world allow there base instincts of me first to over ride all that evolution has gained us.otherhalftw, rubbergearsnextyear, Hitman and 1 other person Thank this. -
Max you need to learn the definition of entrapment. It would be entrapment if the cop said "go ahead and go as fast as you want " and then stopped you for speeding. Hiding behind a billboard is not in anyway entrapment.
I bet you are one heck of a coffee counter lawyer. How many times have you told the old "I called the Federal Marshal on the scale master and when the scale master got smart with the Marshall, the last time I saw him he was in hand cuffs in the back of the Marshall's car" lie. If the truth where known I bet it is more then once.otherhalftw Thanks this. -
Well to me speeding (like some others have said) is going faster than what the little sign says. Lol it dont matter if its all open highway for 150 miles or 150 miles filled with schools, churches etc.....if a sign says 25 and you are going 30, thats speeding and it does not matter what the flow of traffic is doing, if they are going over the limit then its speeding (which I do by the way)
And entrapment? So what of a cop is hiding behind a tree or barrier, they dont have a little string attached to their "trap" to catch you, you just drive into it haha. Ive never got the entrapment argument. -
I was thinking truck stop lawyer. -
The act or an instance of driving especially a motor vehicle faster than is allowed by law.otherhalftw Thanks this. -
I think you need to the learn definition of entrapment.
Obviously you don't see, watch or read the news. How many cops, lawyers, legislators, judges have been locked up in the recent past. A lot, not hard to find on the internet, let your fingers do the typing. As for tickets to other cops, I personally know quite a few that have received tickets for any number of violations. I know one that was arrested for DUI who is no longer gainfully employed as well. Judges, quite a few of them have been ticketed or arrested. Legislators, quite a few of them locked up for DUI. Lawyers, they are my personal favorite. They think they know everything and provide a lot of lip service on the side of the road and equally look pompous when they come to court in their Armani suit. Just because you don't see it on your day in court doesn't mean it doesn't happen. It happens now more than ever. No one is above the law, judges, cops, lawyers etc. If you think so you are sadly mistaken.JustSonny Thanks this. -
So DB..is that sombrero you wear by Armani or Gucci?

Neither, I work for a living.
