Headed to St. Cloud. Guessing it'll be a reload tomorrow out of that one beverage distributor up there that has like 3 warehouses back towards Saint Charles.

I reloaded in Elkhorn, WI to drop at Hershey, then I had to grab one of 4 empty trailers to bring to the yard. I ended up hooking to 2522 and this landing gear is through lol. The yard dog was trying to say it was damaged in Pennsylvania by the yard dog there. The driver who brought it in said the trailer was damaged when he picked it up in PA. It was hell for him to get under it. Who ever took it to PA messed it up first in my mind.mdmgolfin, Professor No-Name, Thrasher28 and 1 other person Thank this.

Yeah, it takes some speed to do that to a landing gear. The yard is so flat in PA, I don't see how that could have happened if it was off the ground at all, but I guess it's possible the yard dog did it. That's not gonna be a cheap fix either way since it tore the entire landing gear/cross member up and not just a leg. Definitely won't be a good day for whoever gets caught being the culprit since it wasn't reported lol.Professor No-Name Thanks this.
-
Yea that's an obvious visual that someone was just to lazy to stop an get it fixed. Can't blame it on the yard dig either cuz they lift em off of the ground so they wouldn't have been dragged by the spotter.

This repurposed steer tire took a beating this morning lol. I'd run it if I wasn't 700 miles out from the terminal, but I don't think DOT will let the gash with chord growing out of it slide. I can't blame anyone but luck for this one
better than a brand new virgin tire at least.
Reloading at Cold Spring Brewing Co. and headed to Du Quoin. Appointment isn't until 17:00, so this was a convenient time to have a trailer tire get assaulted. This is my first time ever hearing the town Du Quoin. I thought I covered every square inch of IL after my time with GP Transco, but evidently not lol.Attached Files:
Professor No-Name Thanks this. -
