Saudi Cuts Send World Diesel Prices Soaring

 

These carriers that are hanging on by the skin of their teeth, this should push them over the edge. We need to cull the hurd anyway.

 

My shipper lowered our rate end of June. Shippers locking those rates now seem to agree with the article above. But I will try to reverse the rates by holidays if we will see the improvement in rates by that time.

 

Okay

By the next presidential election the rates will go higher as I predicted. The articles actually are going in that direction.

So, next year the world will look like a better place during the election race, even if temporary to win votes. ( I knew it. And that's what will probably happen.)

This is not a political post. Just predictions which are actually heading that way.

 

Thanks for the help on my adventure everyone, typical holiday week, customer load back x 2 fell apart, don’t know how you spot guys do it, had to go to trusty Tql to look, lost my saved MA load back while waiting on my direct stuff to tell me it wasn’t shipping this week, broker said it was paying $7xxx anyway meh,
found another going to MD instead of MA for $6500, also meh, but call the office and after I deliver that it’s ~50 miles to the barn and they are going to push NEw England LTL appointments back to tues/wed so I’ll get another 4-5k to roll home after dropping that in the AM, west bound was $900 for the picks MA to PA and ~13k going west, not a bad week (or ten days) but I’m definitely ready to go home

also the guy I rolled west with was showing me around his new 144” ARI bunk and if I ever HAVE to do this instead of wanting to do this It is definitely #1 on the purchase list

 

Anybody else notice rates up over the last three weeks?

I believe for ones heading west, it's some good news.

 

I will definitely do it again, not sure how often, not going to start doing 2 turns a month like a few of the guys do though,

 

I have had an easier time getting the rates I charge since August.
