Listen, I'd take some time to explain supply and demand and how those impact cost in an open market, but based on your responses I suspect you'd accuse me of witchcraft or voodoo and gripe about how brokers are all doing fine and keeping 60% of the profit on every load for themselves.

Just another one who blames his shortcomings on someone else. Because that's the easiest way. Will never understand supply/demand.
Hasn't seen the up's/down's that have happened over and over again.

 

Does all this mean that you won't be trading up on your company car and you'll have to drive the Corolla for another year?

 

Shoot, I wish my boss would give me a Corolla to drive.

 

Haha no company car for me, but if there was I'd go with something simple, maybe a nice Civic or Rav4. 2021 was a BMW type of year, this year is more of a KIA type of year.

All I requested was name one - just ONE - major brokerage that went out of business, and ya could only give bankruptcy reorganizations and layoffs (neither of which means a closed business).

Then y'all get pissy when I pointed that out. THEN y'all suddenly changed the subject.

I'm still waiting for the answer. I prefer the sound of crickets over more diflective insults, if at all possible.

 

If you got the load with your bid why would you be worried about it? It not like they made you take the load. I am not a fan of them either but nothing to do with rates.
