Well i just got out of the truck because i was sick, I have been there oer a year and it ain't been all that bad up until now, we went through this last year at the same time, the only ##### I have is you have to take care of your drivers if you expect them to take care of you and if your a felon and you go to work here it will get better I know i already have job offers and alot of this is from this forum right here so stay here and keep the faith it will all work out

Glad to hear they are going out of buisness...they have been ripping people off for years and paying people slave .17 to .20 per mile for to long.
kickin chicken Thanks this. -
They are even trying to keep the trucks away from the terminal so they wont get repo'd! Tonya the night dispatcher said that the repo guys warned them if they did not surrender the trucks that they would repo them at the weigh stations load and all.

When I went through CDI (Carolina Driving Institute) I met Jim Crowder the Owner of both CDI and Carolina Cargo. He never lied to me. He told me I wouldn't get rich driving for him, but he said he would give me every mile I could handle driving then some. What he wasn't forth coming about was that I would have to deal with the brokers directly, and the worst telephone operators in the world. I say telephone operators because there was no way on Gods green earth these people were dispatchers. You send a message on their QuilCom and can't get a reply for 4 days. Then if you call in you are charged a $25.00 fine for the call. And if your truck breaks down you can't get ahold of the guy who handles breakdowns. (Which Btw is the owner's half wit brother who's job is to save the company the most money possible) And if you refuse to drive an unsafe truck you are either sceamed at or your job is threatened. And then you still have to wait for this idiot to deside weather or not to charge your paycheck for the repair before it was done. Jim pays you .10 a mile do do all the jobs he pays his office workers $24,000.00 a year to do. 15 years ago I did 6years in one of the toughest prisons on the east coast. And I was spoken to with more respect them Jim's "dispatchers" spoke to me with. When I left them after 6 month's companies refused to hire me because I worked for Cargo. I had weight tickets their safty manager swore were paid by them that cost me more money and aggravation when I left. But last week I drove by the "Yard" and their were trailers blocking all the entrances and I have to say I was over joyed because I found out that they were there to prevent the Repo man from getting the tractors. Soon that POS will be out of business and the same with those idiots that man the phones and repair the trucks. God indeed does not like ugly. No more exploiting people who have a past for your own pocket. It just tickles me to see cargo going down the tubes like it is. The people who will suffer though are the ones behing the wheel thinking they have eaten all the crap they have just to get the behind the wheel time to find out that cargo has ruined most of their trucking careers before they began.
kickin chicken and luckdrive3250 Thank this. -
I see their website is not functioning.
Are they truly out of business?
Any one know the owners?
